The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Alcobendas as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B. Alcobendas defeated 3rd placed Gran Canaria II at home 84-74. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. Alcobendas forced 22 Gran Canaria II turnovers. They share the position with Guadalajara. Gran Canaria II will play next round against Lanzarote trying to get back on the winning streak. Alcobendas will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Liceo Frances in Madrid.
