The game in Gevgelija was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked MZT Skopje (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Kozuv (3-3). MZT Skopje defeated Kozuv 89-79 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kozuv. MZT Skopje made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for Croatian Ive Ivanov (200-85, agency: PEPI SPORT) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. American point guard Lester Medford (178-93, college: Baylor) contributed with 14 points and 6 assists for the winners. Five MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. American guard Rob Lewis (185-94, college: Queens, NC) answered with 20 points (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and Montenegrin center Aleksandar Radulovic (207-84) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Kozuv. Kozuv's coach Vrbica Stefanov tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. MZT Skopje moved-up to third place. Loser Kozuv keeps the seventh position with three games lost.
