Regular Season Round 10: BK Pardubice - BK Opava 100-55

An interesting game for BK Pardubice (7-2) which hosted in Pardubice 4th ranked BK Opava (5-5). Third ranked BK Pardubice had an easy win 100-55. BK Pardubice dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to BK Opava's 30 and made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BK Opava 42-26 including a 31-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. BK Pardubice looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by BK Opava's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Dwayne Benjamin (201-93, college: Oregon) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. International point guard Viktor Pulpan (191-96) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 14 assists for the winners. Four BK Pardubice players scored in double figures. Jakub Slavik (200-99) replied with 13 points and 8 rebounds and center Miroslav Kvapil (202-93) added 13 points in the effort for BK Opava. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BK Pardubice moved-up to second place. BK Opava at the other side dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. BK Pardubice are looking forward to face BK Kolin (#10) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. BK Opava will play against NH Ostrava (#9) and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
