An interesting game took place in Limoges where higher ranked JSF Nanterre (5-4) was upset on the court of fifteenth ranked Limoges CSP Elite (4-6) 80-62 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of JSF Nanterre. Limoges CSP Elite dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to JSF Nanterre's 20. International point guard Jonathan Rousselle (188-90) scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Lithuanian Adas Juskevicius (194-89) responded with 24 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and international Lahaou Konate (196-91) scored 16 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Limoges CSP Elite moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Le Portel. Loser JSF Nanterre keeps the eighth position with four games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face higher ranked JDA Dijon (#5) at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
