Bamberg looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Quite impressive performance for American power forward Robert Ferguson (203-85, college: St.Joseph's) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. Swingman Christoph Dippold (191-94) contributed with 21 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Bamberg players scored in double figures. Point guard Joshua Obiesie (198-0) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists and center Marco Lachmann (205-91) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Schwabing. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Bamberg moved-up to fourth place in South-East, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Schwabing dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Bamberg will face league's second-placed Oberhaching in Deisenhofen in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
