Regular Season Round 9: Olomouc Bbal - Vysocina 74-71

The most exciting game of round 9 in the 1Liga took place in Olomouc. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Vysocina (5-4) to second ranked Olomouc Bbal (7-2) 74-71 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Vysocina. The best player for the winners was Moldovan forward Evgeni Scripcaru (195-83) who scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Marek Sehnal (196-96) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Ondrej Manak (198-86) who recorded 22 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jiri Bubak (194-84) added 14 points and 13 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Olomouc Bbal maintains second place in East with 7-2 record having just two points less than leader J.Hradec. Vysocina at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Olomouc Bbal are looking forward to face Ostrava (#6) at home in the next round. Vysocina will play against SKB Zlin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
