Very important is a road loss of third ranked Novy Jicin (5-3) against fourth ranked SKB Zlin (6-3) on Sunday night. Visiting Novy Jicin was crushed by SKB Zlin in Zlin 85-55. SKB Zlin players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by Novy Jicin's players. It was a good game for center Tomas Voslajer (211-90) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Jan Krutilek (189-95) contributed with 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. Swingman Adam Choleva (195-95) answered with 9 points and 7 rebounds and center Tadeas Janik (201-94) added 14 points in the effort for Novy Jicin. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKB Zlin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in East. Novy Jicin at the other side dropped to the fourth position with three games lost. SKB Zlin will play against Vysocina (#5) in Jihlava in the next round. Novy Jicin will play on the road against the league's leader BK Prostejov B and hopes to get back on the winning track.
