Premier League top team - Al-Manama (5-0) had no problems winning another game on Tuesday. This time they crushed eighth ranked Isa Town (1-3) 113-55. Al-Manama dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Isa Town's 18. Al-Manama forced 22 Isa Town turnovers and outrebounded them 47-26 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Isa Town's players. The former international forward Ahmed Ismaeel (203-90) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Mozamel Ameer contributed with 26 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Al-Manama players scored in double figures. Tunisian Ahmed Salman answered with 31 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Jalal Akbar added 9 points in the effort for Isa Town. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Al-Manama have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 5-0 record, which they share with Al-Muharraq. Isa Town at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with Al-Nweidrat. Al-Manama is looking forward to face Al-Riffa (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Isa Town will play against Sitra (#6) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
