Regular Season Round 10: Paulistano - Sao Jose 88-82
Date: November 20, 2018
No shocking result in a game when third ranked Paulistano (7-3) beat 12th ranked Sao Jose (2-6) in Sao Paulo 88-82 on Tuesday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sao Jose was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for international Leonardo Meindl (201-93) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. International point guard Yago Santos (178-99) contributed with 10 points and 6 assists for the winners. Douglas Nunes (208-87) replied with 18 points and Argentinian point guard Fabian Sahdi (186-89) added 10 points and 9 assists (made all of his eight free throws) in the effort for Sao Jose. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Paulistano have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 7-3 record having four points less than leader Franca, which they share with Pinheiros. Sao Jose lost third consecutive game.
