Regular Season Round 11: Svitavy - BK Olomoucko 85-76

Rather expected game when 6th ranked BK Olomoucko (5-6) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Basketbal Svitavy (7-4) 85-76. Basketbal Svitavy players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Power forward Lubos Kovar (203-0) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Sean OBrien (198-94, college: S.Illinois) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Javonte Douglas (203-92, college: Montevallo) answered with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard TJ Dunans (196-92, college: Auburn) added 18 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for BK Olomoucko. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Basketbal Svitavy. They moved-up to third place, which they share with BK Decin. BK Olomoucko at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Basketbal Svitavy's next round opponent will be Brno (#11) at home and are hoping to win another game. BK Olomoucko will play against NH Ostrava (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
