Very important is a road loss of third ranked BK Decin (7-4) against eighth ranked BK Usti nad Labem (6-5) on Wednesday night. Visiting BK Decin was defeated by BK Usti nad Labem in Usti nad Labem 76-66. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Devante Wallace (196-92, college: High Point) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Point guard Michal Sotnar (187-92) accounted for 10 points and 11 assists for the winning side. Four BK Usti nad Labem players scored in double figures. American swingman Lamb Autrey (193-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import forward Klint Carlson (201-94, college: N.Iowa) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for BK Decin in the defeat. BK Decin's coach Pavel Budinsky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BK Usti nad Labem have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with BK Opava. BK Decin at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with Svitavy. BK Usti nad Labem will play against USK Praha (#8) at home in the next round. BK Decin will play against Kralovsti sokoli (#12) in Hradec Kralove and hopes to get back on the winning track.
