Not a big story in a game in Kazan where 6th ranked Avtodor-2 (6-8) was defeated by fourth ranked Unics-2 (8-4) 76-69. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Avtodor-2 won third quarter 20-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Unics-2 won last quarter 17-12. They dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Avtodor-2's 28. Unics-2 forced 22 Avtodor-2 turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Center Semen Pinaev (208-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Swingman Georgiy Korotayev (196-98, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Unics-2 players scored in double figures. Unics-2's coach Andrei Kibenko let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games.
