Regular Season Round 10: Liceo Frances - Alcobendas 81-74

There was a change at the EBA leadership position after last games. Round 10 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Alcobendas (8-2). They were defeated by fifteenth ranked Liceo Frances (3-6) 81-74 on Saturday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Alcobendas. Forward Jorge Diaz (196-98) had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jorge Garzon (193-92) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four Liceo Frances players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Roberto Morentin (204-81, college: Cent.Florida) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and forward Jorge Parra (192-98) scored 14 points. Liceo Frances moved-up to twelfth place in Group B, which they share with Estudio. Alcobendas at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with Gran Canaria II. They were replaced at the leadership position by Lliria. Alcobendas will play next round against Tenerife Naut. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Liceo Frances will try to continue on its current victory against fifteenth ranked Lanzarote in Arrecife.
