Rather predictable result in Plzen where sixth ranked Orli (5-5) defeated 9th ranked Lokomotiva (4-5) 90-77 on Saturday. Orli dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Lokomotiva's 44. The best player for the winners was Slovakian Juraj Palenik (199-0) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Point guard Matej Michalcik (184-0) chipped in 23 points. Forward Martin Mach (194-0) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists and swingman Lukas Karlicek (189-0) added 17 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Lokomotiva players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Orli maintains sixth position with 5-5 record, which they share with Sokol Prazsky. Loser Lokomotiva dropped to the eighth place with five games lost. Orli will meet league's second-placed GBA Europe in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Lokomotiva will play against Snakes (#4) and hope to secure a win.
