No shocking result in a game in Verona where seventh ranked Tezenis VER (5-4) defeated 10th ranked Bondi Ferrara (3-6) 79-75 on Sunday. They outrebounded Bondi Ferrara 30-19 including 21 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. The former international forward Mattia Udom (200-93) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) who recorded 18 points and 5 assists and the former international power forward Tommaso Fantoni (204-85, agency: Players Group) added 24 points respectively. Five Tezenis VER and four Bondi Ferrara players scored in double figures. Tezenis VER maintains seventh place in A2 with 5-4 record. Loser Bondi Ferrara dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Tezenis VER will face Termoforgia JE (#13) in Jesi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bondi Ferrara will play at home against Pompea MNV and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
