Regular Season Round 10: Zaglebie - Wisla Krakow 66-83

Everything went according to plan in Sosnowiec where third ranked Wisla Krakow (7-3) won against 8th ranked Zaglebie (4-6) 83-66 on Sunday. Wisla Krakow looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Rafal Zglobicki (196-94) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Jakub Zaczek (204-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Wisla Krakow's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Power forward Jakub Czyz (205-95) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds and swingman Kamil Wojciak (193-85) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. Five Wisla Krakow and four Zaglebie players scored in double figures. Wisla Krakow have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position in Group C with 7-3 record having just three points less than leader Zubry. Loser Zaglebie dropped to the ninth place with six games lost. Wisla Krakow will face Tarnowskie Gory (#5) at home in the next round. Zaglebie will play against AZS PCz (#7) in Czestochowa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
