Very predictable result in Rio de Janeiro where sixth ranked Botafogo F.R. (5-4) defeated bottom-ranked Sao Jose (2-8) 84-74 on Tuesday. Botafogo F.R. looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for center Ralfi Ansaloni (211-87) who led his team to a victory scoring 21 points and 8 rebounds. Forward Arthur Bernardi (206-90, college: Houston Baptist) helped adding 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Vinicius Oliveira (200-90) responded with 21 points and 6 rebounds and Pedro Lima (191-87) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds. Five Botafogo F.R. and four Sao Jose players scored in double figures.
