1Liga top team - BK Lions Hradec (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Sokol Vysehrad (1-10) 90-50. BK Lions Hradec dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Vysehrad's 34. BK Lions Hradec forced 20 Sokol Vysehrad turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Sokol Vysehrad's players. Point guard Lukas Kanturek (190-98) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points and 9 assists. American point guard Terrell Lipkins (188-91, college: Montevallo) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Ales Chan (215-80, college: Seton Hill) answered with 9 points and 11 rebounds and forward Roman Radovskii (195) added 13 points in the effort for Sokol Vysehrad. Sokol Vysehrad's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eleventh consecutive win for BK Lions Hradec. They maintain first place in West with 11-0 record. Sokol Vysehrad lost their eighth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. BK Lions Hradec will face Slavoj BK Litomerice (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Sokol Vysehrad will play against Sokol Pisek (#4) and hope to win that game.
