Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Fellbach (4-7) was defeated at home by second ranked Speyer (10-1) 83-75 on Sunday. Speyer shot 24 for 34 from the free-throw line, while Fellbach only scored eight points from the stripe. Worth to mention a great performance of British center Kingsley Nwagboso (213-96, college: Francis Marion) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and Spanish point guard Jordi Salto (190-90) who added 21 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was James Arbinger (191-87) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Matija Sagadin (183-84) scored 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Fellbach players scored in double figures. Fellbach's coach Christopher Ferguson tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Speyer have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They keep a position of South-West leader, which they share with Koblenz. Loser Fellbach dropped to the eighth place with seven games lost. Speyer will face TV Langen (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Fellbach will play against Giessen Pointers and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
