The game in Dnipro supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Hoverla (9-3) played at the court of 8th ranked DYUSH-DOR (2-8). Hoverla smashed DYUSH-DOR 87-34. The game without a history. Hoverla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding DYUSH-DOR to just 6 points in second and third quarters and to 13 points in second half. Hoverla held DYUSH-DOR to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.6 percent accuracy of the winners. Hoverla shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by DYUSH-DOR's players. The best player for the winners was point guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) who scored 10 points and 8 assists. Guard Sergey Avrakhov (185-1) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Hoverla. They maintain third place with 9-3 record having just two points less than leader Prometey. DYUSH-DOR at the other side keeps the eighth position with eight games lost. Hoverla's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Ternopil-TNEU on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. DYUSH-DOR will play against the league's leader Rivne-OSHVSM (#1) and hope to win that game.
