The game in Sitra supposed to be also worth to mention about. Leader Al-Manama (5-0) played at the court of 5th ranked Sitra (3-2). Al-Manama smashed Sitra 95-68. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sitra. Al-Manama made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Sitra's players. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Ahmed Ismaeel (203-90) who led the winners and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Hussain Altawash (174-86) accounted for 15 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side. Four Al-Manama players scored in double figures. Senegalese center Mansour Kasse (208-92) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 17 rebounds and Mohayyad Ameer added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Sitra in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al-Manama. Defending champion maintains second place with 5-0 record behind leader Al-Muharraq, which they share with Al-Riffa. Sitra at the other side keeps the fifth position with two games lost. Al-Manama's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Manama to the arena Bahrain Youth.
