Regular Season Round 9: Zadar - Cedevita 69-63

Round 9 in Premijer Liga means a new league leader. The biggest surprise took place in Zadar where host KK Zadar (6-3) beat league's leader Cedevita (6-3) 69-63 on Thursday evening. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 16-7 charge, which allowed them to win the game. KK Zadar dominated on the defensive end, holding Cedevita to just 7 points in fourth quarter. The best player for the winners was power forward Domagoj Vukovic (206-93) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Swedish forward Will Magarity (211-93, college: Davidson, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 11 points and 5 rebounds.
