Regular Season Round 12: Sokol Pisek - Sokol Vyseh. 103-70

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Sokol Vysehrad (1-11) was outplayed on the road by fourth ranked Sokol Pisek (7-5) 103-70 on Friday. Sokol Pisek dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol Vysehrad's 28. They outrebounded Sokol Vysehrad 42-31 including 33 on the defensive glass. Sokol Pisek looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Sokol Vysehrad's players. Sokol Vysehrad was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was swingman Petr Slechta (192-95) who scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Lubos Mikolasek (178) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Five Sokol Pisek players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Tomas Belohradsky (204-97) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and guard Jan Kadlcik (196-97) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Sokol Pisek have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in West, which they share with Slavoj Litom. Sokol Vysehrad lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with 11 games lost. Sokol Pisek will face Slavoj BK Litomerice (#4) on the road in the next round. Sokol Vysehrad will play against Nymburk B (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
