Regular Season Round 13: Challans - Toulouse 89-75

NM1 top team - Vendee Challans (11-2) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat tenth ranked Toulouse (6-7) 89-75. Vendee Challans looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Swingman Dominique Gentil (197-88, agency: Octagon Europe) fired 23 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Center Jeremie Douillet (205-91) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Vendee Challans players scored in double figures. Arnaud Dabadie (200-92) produced 18 points and swingman Tony Housieaux (199-89) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Toulouse's coach Stephane Dao rotated ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Vendee Challans maintains first place in Group B with 11-2 record. Newly promoted Toulouse keeps the tenth position with seven games lost. Vendee Challans will meet Brissac Anjou (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Toulouse will play against Vitre and hope to secure a win.
