Regular Season Round 12: Pardubice - Vysocina 95-71

There was no surprise when 6th ranked Vysocina (6-6) was crushed on the road by fourth ranked Pardubice (6-5) 95-71 on Friday. Pardubice forced 22 Vysocina turnovers. Strangely Vysocina outrebounded Pardubice 51-36 including 19 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was forward Michal Svoboda (190-99) who scored 30 points. Ondrej Vycha (196-99) chipped in 8 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Pardubice's coach Dusan Bohunicky felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jiri Bubak (194-84) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 17 rebounds and forward Ondrej Manak (198-86) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Pardubice maintains fourth position in East with 6-5 record. Loser Vysocina dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. Pardubice will face Ostrava (#9) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Vysocina will play against Sokol Slapanice (#8) and hope to win that game.
