Important game to mention about took place in Larissa. Fourth ranked Ermis Agias (6-3) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Koroivos (5-4) 99-97 on Saturday evening. Ermis Agias players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for the former international forward Nestoras Kommatos (203-77) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists. Guard Leonidas Triantafillou (190-88) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Ermis Agias' coach Stefanos Perkos allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Latvian point guard Toms Leimanis (190-94) answered with 26 points and naturalized German forward Dimitris Cheilaris (206-90) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Koroivos. Five Ermis Agias and four Koroivos players scored in double figures. Ermis Agias moved-up to third place, which they share with Amyntas Dafnis and Diagoras D. Koroivos at the other side dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Ermis Agias will play against Marousi (#11) in Athens in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Koroivos will play on the road against the league's second-placed Iraklis (#2) in Thessaloniki and hopes to get back on the winning track.
