Regular Season Round 4: TSU-Hyundai - Cactus Tbilisi 89-75

Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tbilisi: TSU-Hyundai (#4) and Cactus Tbilisi (#8). TSU-Hyundai (2-1) won against visiting Cactus Tbilisi (1-2) 89-75. The hosts trailed by 9 points at the halftime before their 50-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. TSU-Hyundai forced 19 Cactus Tbilisi turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and international point guard Sandro Sanadze (188-95) who added 17 points during the contest. At the losing side the former international swingman Beqa Chikviladze (196-91) responded with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and American forward Anthony January (203-93, college: CS San Bernar.) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four TSU-Hyundai and five Cactus Tbilisi players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TSU-Hyundai moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Cactus Tbilisi dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with Dinamo Tbilisi and BC Titebi. TSU-Hyundai's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Olimpi.
