Regular Season Round 12: Toyota B SR - JX-Eneos S. 67-81

WJBL top team - JX-Eneos S. (12-0) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat sixth ranked Toyota B SR (6-6) in Aichi 81-67. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Toyota B SR. JX-Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Toyota B SR's 28. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-91) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and international forward Yuki Miyazawa (182-93, college: Queens, NY) who added 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. JX-Eneos S.'s coach Kiyomi Sato used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Yui Kawahara (169-91) with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Sakiko Nomachi (177-87) scored 19 points. Four JX-Eneos S. and five Toyota B SR players scored in double figures. JX-Eneos S. have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 12-0 record. Toyota B SR at the other side dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. JX-Eneos S. are looking forward to face league's second-placed Mitsubishi K. in Nagoya in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Toyota B SR will play on the road against Fujitsu RW (#5) in Kawasaki and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
