Regular Season Round 9: Ruhr - Eintracht Frankfurt 67-75

An interesting game for Falcons (8-0) which played road game in Essen against second-best Ruhr (6-2). Leader Falcons managed to get a 8-point victory 75-67. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Ruhr. It was a good game for forward Leon Pullen (198-0) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Maximilian Begue (192-1) contributed with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Falcons players scored in double figures. Point guard Alexander Winck (195-0) answered with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Philipp Von-Quenaudon (191-0) added 8 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Ruhr. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for Falcons. They maintain first place in Group 2 with 8-0 record. Loser Ruhr keeps the second position with two games lost. Falcons will face Basketball-Akademie (#6) in Giessen in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game.
