Another exciting game for Atlas F. (2-2) which played in Beirut against Sagesse (1-3). Sixth ranked Atlas F. won 104-99. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Ghassan Nehme (190, college: Fair Dickinson) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import power forward Darian Townes (208-84, college: Arkansas) who added 25 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Canadian power forward Keanau Post (211-92, college: Missouri) responded with 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Youssef Ghantous (188) scored 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Sagesse players scored in double figures. Atlas F. moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Moutahed. Sagesse lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Atlas F. will play against higher ranked Al Riyadi (#3) in Beirut in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sagesse will play on the road against Al Moutahed (#5) in Tripoli and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
