Everything went according to plan when third ranked Psychiko (6-4) defeated 12th ranked Marousi (4-6) in Athens 89-71 on Wednesday. Psychiko made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. Marousi was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for guard Nikos Arsenopoulos (195-0) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 6 assists. Swingman Antonis Mantzaris (193-86) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Orfeas Stasinos (183-98) replied with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Giannis Papageorgopoulos (204-91) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Marousi.
