Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Praha: USK Praha B (#2) and Sokol Prazky (#7). USK Praha B (11-2) won against visiting Sokol Prazky (4-9) 75-61. They outrebounded Sokol Prazky 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Slovakian Marcel Batovsky (189-0) nailed 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side and guard Marek Vyroubal (191-1) accounted for 14 points. Guard Jan Sop (185-96) came up with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Michael Hartig (191-98) added 13 points respectively for Sokol Prazky in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for USK Praha B. They maintain second place in West with 11-2 record having just two points less than leader J.Hradec. Loser Sokol Prazky keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with GBA Sparta and Nymburk B. USK Praha B will meet Basket Kosire (#5) in the next round. Sokol Prazky will play against Sokol Vysehrad and hope to secure a win.
