Regular Season Round 16: Boras - Nassjo 103-80

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fifth ranked Boras Basket's (11-7) home victory over 6th ranked Nassjo (8-9) 103-80 on Friday. The game without a history. Boras Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 61.4 percent from the field and made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Mike Moore (203-94, college: Mount Olive) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 5 rebounds and the other American import point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) who added 22 points and 9 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. Boras Basket's coach Henrik Svensson felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Felix Terins (166-98) scored 18 points and 7 assists. Four Boras Basket and five Nassjo players scored in double figures. Boras Basket maintains fifth position with 11-7 record. Loser Nassjo keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Boras Basket will meet higher ranked BC Lulea (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Nassjo will play against Umea and hope to secure a win.
