Regular Season Round 7: Tallinn Kalev - MKS Start 91-43

EYBL U20 top team - Estonian Tallinn Kalev (9-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked Polish TBV Start (4-5) 91-43. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of TBV Start. The game was mostly controlled by Tallinn Kalev. TBV Start was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding TBV Start to just 6 points in third quarter and to 14 points in second half. Tallinn Kalev dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to TBV Start's 32. They outrebounded TBV Start 28-12 including a 19-8 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Daniel Beilinson (194-0) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Hendry Engelbrecht (199-99) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Guard Bartlomiej Pelczar (186-0) answered with 18 points and guard Jan Piliszczuk (185-0) added 12 points in the effort for TBV Start. TBV Start's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Tallinn Kalev have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. TBV Start at the other side keeps the tenth position with five games lost. Tallinn Kalev's next round opponent will be SMS PZKosz (#11) in Wladyslawowo and are hoping to win another game. TBV Start will play at home against TTU BS and hope to win that game.
