Regular Season Round 13: Loko Plzen - Basket Kosire 75-84

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked BK Loko Plzen (6-7) lost at home to sixth ranked Basket Kosire (6-7) 84-75 on Friday. Basket Kosire outrebounded BK Loko Plzen 45-34 including 32 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for forward Jan Kratochvil (200-82) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Jan Bohm (199-95) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Basket Kosire players scored in double figures. Point guard Vaclav Honomichl (186-92) answered with 21 points and 7 rebounds and forward Martin David (195-97) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for BK Loko Plzen. BK Loko Plzen's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Basket Kosire moved-up to fifth place in West, which they share with Loko Plzen. Basket Kosire will face league's second-placed USK Praha B at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Loko Plzen will play against the league's leader BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and hope to win that game.
