Leader Real Betis delivered the eleventh victory. This time they crushed 11th ranked Real Canoe (6-7) 99-68 in Sevilla. Real Betis dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Real Canoe's 28. They outrebounded Real Canoe 35-21 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. Real Betis shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Obi Enechionyia (208-95, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording 19 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). American-Liberian swingman Thomas Bropleh (196-91, college: Boise St., agency: Duran International) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Real Betis players scored in double figures. Point guard Adrian Fuentes (183-87) answered with 16 points, 7 assists and 5 steals and Jose-Miguel Perez (202-96) added 14 points in the effort for Real Canoe. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Real Betis (11-2) have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place. Real Canoe lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. They share it with Ourense and Palma. Real Betis will play against Barca II (#16) in Barcelona in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Real Canoe will play at home against Palma (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
