There was a minor upset when 9th ranked NH Ostrava (4-10) was defeated at home by eleventh ranked Brno (4-10) 81-75 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American guard Davell Roby (193-96, college: St.Louis) who scored 22 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Forward Zdenek Nehyba (197-95) chipped in 16 points. Brno's coach Dejan Jakara used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Petr Bohacik (205-85, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 19 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) and Canadian forward Luka Zaharijevic (202-95, college: UBC) added 9 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
