Regular Season Round 13: Zlin - Opava B 100-67

Very predictable result when second ranked SKB Zlin (10-3) rolled over at home 7th ranked B&W Opava B (6-7) 100-67 on Sunday. They outrebounded B&W Opava B 49-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. SKB Zlin looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 4 passes made by B&W Opava B's players. It was a very good performance for guard Petr Dokoupil (191-88) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Power forward Michal Susak (203-77) contributed with 25 points and 5 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four SKB Zlin players scored in double figures. Point guard Lukas Bukovjan (185-98) answered with 28 points and 6 rebounds and center Jiri Stepanek (201-98) added 21 points in the effort for B&W Opava B. B&W Opava B's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for SKB Zlin. They keep a position of East leader, which they share with BCM Orli. Loser B&W Opava B dropped to the sixth place with seven games lost. SKB Zlin will face league's leader BK Prostejov B on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. B&W Opava B will play against Novy Jicin (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
