An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ruzomberok. Leader MBK Ruzomberok faced 3rd placed Piestanske C.. Host MBK Ruzomberok (12-0) smashed guests from Piestany (7-4) 87-64. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of Piestanske C.. They outrebounded Piestanske C. 38-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Aaryn Ellenberg (170-92, college: Oklahoma) who scored 25 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Her fellow American import guard Chucky Jeffery (178-91, college: Colorado) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. International center Ivana Jakubcova (198-94, college: USC) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian center Jessica Lubin (185-90) added 10 points respectively for the guests. Piestanske C.'s coach Richard Kucsa gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. MBK Ruzomberok have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Piestanske C. at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. MBK Ruzomberok will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Piestanske C. will play at home against Slovan and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
