Very expected game when 17th ranked Caen (2-8) lost at home to fourth ranked Saint Chamond (7-3) 85-77 on Tuesday. Saint Chamond made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. Tunisian point guard Omar Abada (189-93) notched 20 points and 7 assists to lead the effort and Cuban power forward Grismay Paumier (205-88) supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Saint Chamond players scored in double figures. Even 20 points and 8 rebounds by American-Haitian forward Marc-Eddy Norelia (203-93, college: FGCU, agency: Duran International) did not help to save the game for Caen. Paul-Lou Duwiquet (195-95) added 11 points for lost side. Saint Chamond moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Caen lost sixth consecutive game.
