Regular Season Round 18: Zilina - Inter Bratislava 72-67

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Inter Bratislava (13-3) on the court of fourth ranked Zilina on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Zilina 72-67. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Inter Bratislava. It was a good game for American forward Deandre Dickson (206, college: W.Washington) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Oliver Tot (200-94, college: William & Mary) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Zilina players scored in double figures. American point guard James Kinney (187-90, college: San Jose St.) replied with 20 points and the former international center Michal Batka (204-87) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Inter Bratislava. Zilina maintains fourth position with 10-6 record. Inter Bratislava at the other side still keeps top place with three games lost. Zilina are looking forward to face Prievidza (#5) at home in the next round. Inter Bratislava will have a break next round.
