Four Handlova players scored in double figures. Handlova's coach Peter Torda used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84) did not help to save the game for Rieker KN. American guard Liam OReilly (188, college: Gardner-Webb) added 13 points. Handlova maintains eighth position with 5-11 record. Rieker KN lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Nova Ves. Handlova will meet at home league's second-placed Levice in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Rieker KN will play against Lucenec (#9) and hope to secure a win.
