Regular Season Round 11: Roanne - Orleans 82-69

The game between Top Four teams took place in Roanne. First ranked host Chorale de Roanne (9-2) defeated 3rd placed Entente Orleans 45 (8-3) 82-69. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Entente Orleans 45 was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American David Jackson (192-86, college: W.Illinois) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import swingman Jason Williams (200-83, college: UTEP) accounted for 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Cameroonian center Junior MBida (206-90) came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!) and Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Entente Orleans 45 in the defeat. Four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Chorale de Roanne have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-2 record. Entente Orleans 45 at the other side dropped to the second position with three games lost. They share it with Vichy Clermont. Chorale de Roanne will play against SPO Rouen (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Entente Orleans 45 will play against ADA Blois (#11) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
