Very important is a road loss of second ranked Lorient (10-6) against fifth ranked La Charite (10-6) on Saturday night. Visiting Lorient was crushed by La Charite in La Charite 93-74. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Austen Rowland (186-81, college: Lehigh) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 5 assists and Lithuanian center Dominykas Milka (203-92, college: St.Rose, NY) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. At the losing side naturalized American forward Jordan Semple (201-92, college: Chico St., agency: Octagon Europe) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and American forward Zach Brown (198-95, college: Wichita St.) scored 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. La Charite moved-up to second place in Group B, which they share with defeated Lorient. La Charite will face Union Tours (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Lorient will play against Lourdes-Tarbes (#12) and hope to win that game.
