It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of TSU-Hyundai. TSU-Hyundai trailed by 12 points after 3 quarters before a 21-16 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 72-79 at the end of the game. Delta forced 19 TSU-Hyundai turnovers. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Delta made 7 blocks. The former international power forward Beka Bekauri (207-91) fired 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks for the winners. The former international point guard Otar Pkhakadze (188-93, college: Simpson, CA) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Delta maintains fourth place with 4-2 record. Newly promoted TSU-Hyundai keeps the second position with two games lost. They share it with Dinamo Tbilisi. Delta's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Tbilisi to the arena Dinamo Tbilisi.
