Regular Season Round 11: MZT Skopje - Feni Industries 97-90

Rather predictable result when third ranked MZT Skopje (8-2) defeated at home 5th ranked Feni Industries (6-4) 97-90 on Saturday. MZT Skopje dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Feni Industries' 34. The best player for the winners was international Damjan Stojanovski (198-87) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian Andrija Bojic (207-93, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. MZT Skopje's coach Gjorgi Kocov used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Kenney Funderburk (193-92, college: Columbus St.) produced 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and point guard Jane Petrovski (181-87) added 17 points and 9 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. MZT Skopje maintains third place with 8-2 record behind leader Blokotehna. Loser Feni Industries dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. They share it with Gostivar. MZT Skopje will meet at home league's leader Blokotehna in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Feni Industries will play against Pelister Bitola and hope to secure a win.
