Host Kyoto Hannar. was defeated by Fukuoka Rizing in a tough game in Kyoto 73-78. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kyoto Hannar.. Zimbabwean-American Julian Mavunga (203-90, college: Miami, OH, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists and American center David Simon (208-82, college: PFW) added 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 blocks respectively for Kyoto Hannar. in the defeat. Newly promoted Fukuoka Rizing maintains fifth place with 7-20 record. Loser Kyoto Hannar. dropped to the third position with 12 games lost.
