We should mention about the upset which took place in Brno, where 8th ranked USK Praha (6-10) lost to eleventh ranked Brno (5-11) in a road game 69-87. Brno dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to USK Praha's 24 and made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Brno players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. The winners were led by American guard Davell Roby (193-96, college: St.Louis) who scored that evening 24 points and the other American import power forward Reggie Keely (202-91, college: Ohio) supported him with 7 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Even 27 points and 5 assists by international point guard Ondrej Sehnal (196-97) did not help to save the game for USK Praha. Swingman Patrick Samoura (195-0) added 7 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
