There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Menorca (5-10) was edged on the road by eleventh ranked Albacete (5-10) 75-72 on Saturday. It was a good game for American forward Tyler Rudolph (198-96, college: Minot St., agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 25 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Albacete players scored in double figures. Power forward Andreu Matali (204-81) answered with 15 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Richaud Pack (191-92, college: Maryland) added 14 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) in the effort for Menorca. Albacete maintains eleventh place in Silver with 5-10 record. Albacete will face league's second-placed HLA Alicante at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
