Very significant was SO Maritime Boulogne's (#7) 28-point road victory against 6th ranked Sorgues BC in Group A 93-65. SO Maritime Boulogne dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Sorgues BC's 34. SO Maritime Boulogne players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Sorgues BC's players. Hugo Dumortier (196-93) nailed 22 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and American forward Matt Bonds (196-95, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) accounted for 13 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five SO Maritime Boulogne players scored in double figures.
